Simply attach the Ethernet adapter to the back of a display and connect your Ethernet cable to your 10BaseT or 100BaseT TCP/IP LAN

Now there is no maximum to the number of Ethernet Adapters that can be used with AlphaNET Software. Simply attach the Ethernet Adapter to the back of a display and connect your Ethernet cable to the Adapter. No external power supply is required as the Adapter is powered directly by the display. Two additional solutions are available. For 100BaseT networks, we offer the Lantronix MSS100 version of the Ethernet Adapter. Where several displays are connected together via a RS485 network, the Lantronix MSS485 lets you easily connect multiple signs to one IP address on a 10BaseT network.

The MSS100 is easily manageable through HTTP, SNMP, Telnet or a supplied Windows GUI. It allows easy upgrade via Flash ROM and includes Lantronix’s Com Port Redirector software, enabling Windows applications to communicate to remote networked devices.

In addition to being easy to configure and manage, the MSS100 is a highly programmable solution for serial-to-Ethernet connectivity. Its robust performance, modem replacement/emulation and compact size make it a prime candidate for countless applications. The MSS100 incorporates advanced serial datahandling capabilities and Lantronix’s proven network enabling technology, allowing virtually any asynchronous RS-232 serial device to communicate over the LAN, WAN or Internet.
